AI Video Interview Platform
What it is
Asynchronous video interviews at scale, with AI assessment and its own billing.

[ THE_PROBLEM ]
Why this existed
First-round screening is the most repetitive part of hiring. Coordinating calendars for hundreds of applicants costs more than the screening is worth, and candidates get inconsistent questions.
[ WHAT_WE_BUILT ]
What we built
Interviewers define job profiles with role-specific questions plus a reusable intro question bank; each profile produces a shareable link. Candidates record one response per question in sequence, with chunked upload and playback so a dropped connection does not lose the interview. Interviewers get a dashboard, per-interview detail and review. Around it: role-separated dashboards for admins, interviewers and candidates, a metered billing system with a webhook and scheduled jobs, password management, and a full in-app documentation set covering getting started, best practices, troubleshooting and FAQ for both sides.

[ HOW_IT_IS_USED ]
How a company uses it
A company screening hundreds of applicants replaces the first-round phone call entirely — every candidate answers the same questions, hiring managers review on their own schedule, and nobody coordinates calendars.

[ COMMON_QUESTIONS ]
Questions clients ask
Why is chunked video upload called out?
Because candidates record on phones and home connections, and a single failed upload at the end of a fifteen-minute interview loses the whole thing. Chunking makes a network blip recoverable instead of fatal — it is the difference between a platform candidates complete and one they abandon.
Is asynchronous interviewing fair to candidates?
It has genuine trade-offs. It removes scheduling friction and gives everyone identical questions, which is fairer than an interviewer improvising differently each time. It also removes the chance to ask a follow-up, and it disadvantages people without a quiet space or a decent connection. Worth being deliberate about where in the funnel it sits.
Why ship documentation as part of the product?
Because both sides are non-technical and often using it once. A candidate confused by the recording flow does not open a support ticket, they abandon the application — and you never learn why.
