[ THE_PROBLEM ]

Why this existed

A publisher on an off-the-shelf theme ends up with the paywall, the research product and the newsletter each living in a different system, sharing no content model and no subscriber record.

[ WHAT_WE_BUILT ]

What we built

A content platform with news feeds, editor's choice, trending and hand-picked sections, blog detail pages, hashtag taxonomy, a research grid with lifecycle-aware report generation, PDF viewing, podcast promotion, a news ticker, announcements and a write-for-us flow. Auth, email verification and paywall wrappers gate premium content; a maintenance mode and coming-soon wrapper handle launch phases. Content is managed in a headless CMS with typed content models per section, and analytics and SEO metadata run throughout.

[ HOW_IT_IS_USED ]

How a company uses it

A publisher moves from a WordPress theme to a platform where the paywall, the research product and the newsletter all share one content model — and the editorial team never waits on a developer to publish.

[ COMMON_QUESTIONS ]

Questions clients ask

Why does a shared content model matter?

Because the same article feeds the site, the newsletter and the research product. When each has its own store, editors publish three times and the versions diverge. One typed model with several presentations is the difference between a platform and three websites.

How is premium content gated?

Through wrapper components tied to auth and verification state, so gating is a property of the content rather than something remembered per page. That is what keeps a paywall from leaking as the site grows.

Can editors publish without a developer?

Yes — that is the point of the headless CMS with typed models. If publishing requires a deploy, the editorial team routes around the system and consistency is lost within a month.
