What it is

A six-page recruitment marketing site built to a written PRD, with forms that reach the right inbox.

[ THE_PROBLEM ]

Why this existed

In industrial staffing, credibility is the buying criterion and compliance is part of it. A site that looks improvised loses the client before the conversation, and a form that goes to a dead address loses the candidate entirely.

[ WHAT_WE_BUILT ]

What we built

Home, about, employer services, job seekers, current openings and contact — with content driven entirely from config files so the client edits roles, services, stats and testimonials without touching a CMS or a developer. The openings page emits Google Jobs structured data so listings surface in job search. Three forms — employer inquiry, candidate application with optional résumé upload, and general contact — post to a serverless function that routes each to the correct inbox with the résumé attached, and sends the submitter an automatic confirmation. Compliance content (WHMIS, OHSA, working-at-heights, COR, MOL, WSIB) is treated as a first-class section because in industrial staffing it is a buying criterion.

  • Six pages: home, about, employer services, job seekers, openings and contact
  • All content driven from config files so the client edits without a developer
  • Google Jobs structured data on the openings page
  • Employer inquiry, candidate application with résumé upload, and general contact forms
  • Serverless routing of each form to the correct inbox with the résumé attached
  • Automatic confirmation email to the submitter
  • Compliance content treated as a first-class section

[ HOW_IT_IS_USED ]

How a company uses it

A services business that sells on credibility gets a site that reads as established, ranks for its category, and does not lose a candidate because the form went to a dead address.

[ COMMON_QUESTIONS ]

Questions clients ask

Why config files instead of a CMS?

Because for six pages of largely stable content, a CMS is overhead the client pays for forever — hosting, updates, another login, another thing to break. Config-driven content lets them add a role or change a stat directly, and a CMS can be added later if the publishing volume justifies it.

What does Google Jobs structured data do?

It makes individual openings eligible to appear in Google's job search results, which is where candidates actually look. For a recruitment business that is a meaningful acquisition channel obtained from correct markup rather than ad spend.

Why emphasise compliance content?

Because in industrial staffing it is a purchasing criterion, not boilerplate. Employers checking whether an agency understands site safety obligations are evaluating exactly that. Burying it in a footer misses the point of the page.
